Apparently flagged as a late migrant. Possibly the same individual reported by several observers at the same location on 10-18-2025. Medium-sized shorebird with bright yellow legs and moderately long, slightly recurved black bill with a gray base. Appeared to be a large chunk of feathers missing from the scapular and lower back area. Didn’t seem to be acting right, alert but no movement the whole time I watched it. Just guessing it was injured during a predation attempt. On small island below VC.
