We were heading towards a lake when I saw a bird perched on a wire . After looking through the binoculars , I noticed it was a bunting . I ran after it and took a few pictures and wrongly concluded that it was a grey necked bunting . Upon reaching home I checked the pictures again and noticed that that bunting had streaks down the breast and a greenish tinge to the lores . After confirming with an expert I came to the conclusion that it was an ortolan bunting. What a bird to get as my 300th!!!
