Adult male seen briefly but well at Stonehouse late morning. Retained spring type plumage: solid black hood and bib sharply bordered on bright yellow face, clean olive back and rich yellow under parts. No wing bars, hood still crisp though slight wear on breast edges visible. Behavior active but furtive. Uploading a few very blurry photos showing black bib and cap against bright yellow. Autofocus was not focusing on the bird!
