Continuing bird, roosting in a tipu tree in a front yard just inside campus from the gate at the end of Garden Ln. See listserv for more details. Life bird!! Very round owl, mostly gray with black mottling, hints of orange around facial disk. Eyes mostly or fully closed during each of my short observation periods, so only caught tantalizing glimpses of the famous night-sky eyes. So cool!!!
