Immature, 1cy bird. Could be the same individual photographed in Henderson on 20 Sep. Observed distantly from parking lot overlook soaring over lake once we returned from hike. Dropped down and presumably landed on lakeshore. Light coloration evident on breast even at a distance, plus scattered white coming in on axillaries and underwing coverts. Bulbous neck and head, outer primary appears long in photos, giving appearance of broad “hand”. Extremely distant photo.
