觀察細節

Both were females, probably juveniles based on the lack of black on the chest. Woodpeckers narrowly barred black and white on the wings and back. Lower belly a pale yellow, but this was generally hard to see. Head was a light brownish color. White rump was obvious in flight. I photoed one of them, then after it flushed to a new tree a second bird appeared and landed within three feet of the first bird, but I was unable to get photos of both together.
