Juvenile seen near mouth of creek (34.1693524, -118.4739658) Key field marks include long wings reaching past tail tip; teardrop patterning on chest and sides; dark chest and cheeks contrasting with white throat; buffy color on belly; very thin, even banding throughout tail; dark eye; pale underwing (palest on leading edge) seen in flight; and large size (direct comparison to Cooper's Hawk perched in same tree).
