Six crossbill flew low overhead, sounding different to the common crossbill I'm used to. After briefly playing a parrot crossbill call, a female flew in and perched in relatively small tree in front of us. Very chunky head and neck, and bill as deep as it was long. Clearly chunkier then common crossbill I am used to.
