My second record of this species, and the first time I've found them on breeding territory (and first photograph). Very poor photo, but the short bill, long legs and perch position is diagnostic.
觀察細節
Only my second UPSA in the NWT, first in probable breeding habitat. Dry portion of bog with variety of dead trees/snags for perching. Distant photo taken. Did not fly and give wolf-whistle during my stop, but patiently stood on snag, with occasional short call.
