Regarding nesting in Tree Swallow nest boxes: Box D1: One egg in nest. (someone had put bread in box) Box D2: 5 eggs! (bread in box) Box D3: Abandoned nest, particulary dirty nest. Box D4: Empty nest, no activity Box D5: Feeding activity at box. Presumed occupied by chicks. Box D6: Empty nest, but a tree swallow was flying near it, circling and "exploring?" 3 of 6 boxes are showing second broods.
