The sandpiper was seen with the Ringed Plover and Dunlin and watched for about an hour before it took flight and not seen again while I was there. A smart bird with yellow legs, yellow/buff under parts with dark flecking either side of the neck. a record shot taken. Accepted by the county recorder. many observers.
