Positively 'small' terns (Little and Fairy). Resting and preening on wooden uprights and concrete infrastructure. Some sitting beside Crested terns. Birds in apparent non-breeding plumage. Flushed from roosts by human presence but soon returned. Not confident at this stage to venture an opinion as to the ratio of Fairy to Little but multiple videos show majority with light primaries (possibly indicating Fairies). One bird (Fairy I believe) with a leg ring was observed (refer photo). Fairly confident single bird on post is a Little. Identifying in off season appears challenging.
