'Three beers' song

Large dark-vested Contopus flycatchers with proportionally short tail and white patches on sides. Two birds about 600 meters apart. First bird was silent, seen characteristically on tall dead snag catching cicadas before flying off to the south towards Vespie Branch and did not return. Second bird on northeastern end of the property was a male singing "quick, three beers" song repeatedly while flycatching from a dead snag. There was enough plumage difference between the birds based on the photos to definitively confirm 2 individuals. This is the same weekend as last year that we had this species at this location.
