At 0106, a KIRA was detected calling. Recordings obtained. Vocalizations were lower-pitched and more resonant than those of nearby CLRA, with a slower cadence and deeper, fuller tone. The "kek-kek-kek" series was delivered at a more measured pace, with each note more separated and less metallic than typical CLRA calls. These differences are consistent with KIRA, which has been reliably reported at this location.
