Evidently the first county record with confirming evidence; a fairly large owl with dark eyes, no ear tufts, distinctive vertical barring but not spotting on the lower body, yellow bill, and somewhat dark concentric feathered circles on the face. A brown back was stippled with both barred and triangular white markings, truly a beautiful owl that was quite obliging. Photos supplied.
