Full hooded adult bird bombed through the scope while I was looking at the LIGU. Caught the dark underwings and was hoping it was another LIGU so moved away from the sitting bird. Dark only extended across about 1/3 of the distal end of the wings. Never relocated the original as the flock lifted up and shuffled. Poor cropped cell phone digiscope. Of course, it landed on the far side of the pond.
