Adult. Fairly large, dark-mantled gull (like a rather dark Western) with yellow legs, Large red spot on gonys, dusky streaking on nape and smudging on face, black primaries with neat white apical spots visible standing in profile. Seemed less bulky than Western and long-winged. At 38.12218, -122.47336. My best digiscope attempt is attached.
