Species identification confirmed with photo, birds seen by all 7 observers, counted by 2. This is only the second year that we have had access to this location; lots of new housing/streets in this area gives access. Notably, there were many fewer Wilson's Snipe in the Stevenson Blvd. Pond area on the count this year as compared to most previous years in the Christmas Bird Count--perhaps because the birds had opted to be at this pond instead on this day.
