觀察細節

Non-breeding adult/juvenile. First seen from boat ramp. Observed by team of 9 observers for 45 minutes. Came within 15m of shore in front of Boston Harbor lighthouse. Foraging between point and the log boom at the marina. Often near pigeon guillemots, Rhinocerous auklets, and bufflehead. Smaller than the other alcids. Dark bill, white collar, white scapulars clearly visible. Observer party included 3 former murrelet surveyors.
