觀察細節
Appears to be a 1st winter Female? Observed a small warbler with muted plumage (yet somehow still strongly marked and contrast of white grey and black prominent), to me looking at the Warbler guide seems likely a first-winter female. Face pattern is subdued, with soft gray and white tones and faint black streaks, lacking the bold contrast seen in males. Throat is white/gray blending smoothly into white underparts. A yellow spot in front of the eye is present. Flanks show light black streaking, and two white wing bars are visible. Bird first found by Adam Chambers 11/30/24, refound yesterday and then finally better sights for many birders today. 3 trips myself to see this rarity. Seemed to have a strong affinity for the dense thickets bouncing in and out of the tangles actively looking for food. Responsive to pishing. Lifer and great to enjoy with so many
