mystifying juvenile, struggling to see Am Herring features here. Most unusual probably the "empty" scapulars, with many thin solid lines. Old world herring style underwing and body feathers, pale greater coverts and especially median coverts, more spaced out tail barring also like old world. Scap pattern does not fit w/old world taxa, so better possible explanation hybrid ancestry w/Glaucous, otherwise clueless.
