Tall brown wading bird, seen perched just before sunset. Long legs and neck. Long, yellowish, slightly decurved bill. Brown overall, with white triangular spots in the wings, scapulars, back, neck, and chest. Photos and a field sketch before the mosquitos drained me past the point of no return.
