觀察細節
A new (so far this year) male was singing (a very “typical” SWWA song; see first two recordings) in the territory formerly occupied by the “Swooded” Warbler for at least a couple weeks now (whose song is very Hooded-like). I could hear the “Swooded” in the distance singing in a different spot (I later went over and recorded him; third attached recording), and the new male on several occasions flew about halfway to the "Swooded" and sang as if asserting his claim to the overtaken territory. Very interesting dynamics. The "new" male sounds more like the SWWA that was in this spot and another somewhat nearby in 2022 and 2023; possibly that same bird? I need to compare spectrograms. What is especially interesting is that the "Swooded" Warbler found that same territory on what was presumably his first "visit" to this tract (based on my experience here).
