觀察細節

Slim, long tailed cormorant, sharply angled gular, no yellow in the lores. This is a different bird than the one photographed by Jake Ray on March 30th, which looks to be an adult, but the brown, pale breasted bird I’ve gotten looks at is definitely younger. Wasn’t able to locate the adult, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s just off some other part of the lake, with this species track record as an annual at this lake now.
