觀察細節
Continuing bird first found by Huck Hutchens. Plump, long-tailed warbler, more similar to a chat than a yellowthroat in both behavior and appearance. Eye arcs and dark mask with bicolored bill (dark upper mandible and pale, horn-colored lower mandible). Bright yellow underparts and grayish-blue crown; upper parts a greenish yellow color. The bird was located by sound. Gives a dry, sharp 3-note call. Observed for 32 minutes as it foraged in the grass. Would move silently, then perch up on a shrub and give its call repeatedly. At one point, it sat up for about 4 minutes in the same spot, scanning and calling.
