Flew in overhead from the east and landed on the chimney at the Armory that typically hosts roosting Chimney Swifts. We saw it amble part way around the chimney’s rim, and it seemed to peer down into the chimney. A minute or two later, it flew off to the southwest. No Chimney Swifts were observed to roost in this chimney on this date.
