Sick bird found by my research teacher, Ben Holt (who is a herp guy and barely ever birds). He told me he had a spoonbill and I honestly didn’t believe him, but went by and checked and sure enough, a young Roseate Spoonbill! Relatively large wading bird that was pale pink overall with a white head and neck, pink legs, and flesh colored bill. Poor digibin pics. Campus is restricted access, but if anyone wants to see the bird, shoot an email to ldtbirds37@gmail.com, and I’ll try and get you in to see it. Campus bird 211 for me and 218 total.
