A truly astounding number of individuals with a ton of activity. This is a certain simultaneous high count as I had eyes on four individuals at one time with two others singing. I repeated this count throughout this outing only counting individuals seen simultaneously, this number represents the certain highest number detected. Standing still in the area of the power line cut, these birds at times were landing only a few feet next to me. Some really gorgeous bold males seen in this group. Singing characteristic buzzy, rising, accelerating "zee" song. Photos to follow.
