觀察細節
One female House Sparrow at North Point Higgins school - 1st Ketchikan record since 2015. I first heard it calling - loud, distinctive "weep" or "cheep" - then spotted it in the top of a spruce tree - it was present for about 2 minutes, calling the entire time. It flew to the top of a nearby tree, then flew off toward the west (toward the water). Easily identified by its swollen bill, overall grayish coloration (paler on the underparts), black eye standing out on the face, and wide, buffy supercilium. It acted like a bird that was on the move (the constant calling and sitting in the top of the trees).
