BEKI female observed and heard flying up and downstream near Bear Gulch administrative offices, landing briefly on live oaks and sycamores, apparently patrolling over creek corridor. Upper breast band bluish, lower breast band and flanks rufous. Seen clearly - photos attached. A. Welch and E. Lehnert also observed BEKI. A. Welch reported hearing / seeing the BEKI on April 20 as well, and throughout day of April 21 in Bear Gulch area.
