Delicate Prinia from Al Qatif. Browner plumage, tails appear long and held straight (i.e. not fanned), subterminal bands smaller, fainter and less rounded than good for Graceful, and strong upper-tail barring. No acoustic evidence provided unfortunately. Delicate documented from several locations nearby. In terms of habitat, this area is characterized by farms divided by irrigation canals and pools of runoff with phragmite growth. The reeds are not as extensive as larger wetland spots in the wider region. Most farms contain fruiting trees, predominantly date palms. Al Qatif has been under cultivation for something like 5 millenia.
