Northeast point of loop trail. Observed at 30 ft with binoculars. iPhone photos for documentation. Small finch, royal blue all over, slightly lighter below. Small blackish area on face. Small silvery bill. Bird and bill too small for blue grosbeak, blue underneath rules out bluebird and lazuli bunting. Lazuli bunting fairly common at this location. No indications of hybridization evident.
