觀察細節
Returning asiatic-Alaskan last year, looks like a Purple Sandpiper (very plump large sandpiper, stocky and round with a longer drooping bill that is black and yellow-orange at base), but less orange in exposed parts, and distinctly more spotted on breast than pusa . Darker so of the couesi/tschtschorum ssp, presumed the latter by wintering range (this would be the expected ssp.) Looked like a feathered rock when I walked up and some birders having missed him, but with enough attention eventually peeked out an eye and began moving about thanks to slapping waves.
