Presumed first MD record, found at this location by Ramsay Koury on October 4. Favored a narrow strip of young vegetation at the west end of the ball fields. Remained unseen for long periods of time but would suddenly reappear, often close to or on the ground. Showed little fear of people but rarely showed itself in the open. Call was a sharp, husky chip, flight call was a buzzy "zeet".
