Juv. Flew out of the grass in front of me as I was parked about half way down the spit, then stayed low, perused the roadside ground and grass moving E along the road for about a mile ahead of traffic, sometimes perching on the curb and pavement. I followed it for about a mile to near the antenna. Photos.
