觀察細節

Perching on a buoy. Black cap extending to nape, orange-red bill with black tip; red legs. The tail on this bird seems short compared to other Forster’s—wings appear longer than tail, thus making us think strongly about Common Tern for this ID. Seen mostly from back and side—and not from front, but from our limited vantage, breast and belly look white. Distant photo to follow. Thanks to Justin for ID help.
