Re-entering this as a BCNH x YCNH hybrid. Something didn't look entirely right to me about this bird, but I convinced myself it showed several YCNH characteristics and it looked quite different from a nearby juv. Black-crowned Night-Heron. At the time I didn't consider a hybrid, but a communication from Kimball Garrett indicated that multiple people suspected this was indeed a hybrid. In pattern it seemed mostly like a YCNH, but in shape it appears more like a BCNH- with rather short legs and chunkier appearance and shorter-necked look. Bill was all dark in color.
