2 different pairs seen. Two adults attending nest site. Young could be heard as parents brought food to entrance. I have reported greater than 10 individuals of this species nearly every spring and summer from this area. Large numbers of dead trees in standing water for several miles of upper lake. Easily detected by loud ringing song and bright color.
