Two feeding together on Banksia species flowers. New Holland Honeyeaters (Phylidonyris novaehollandiae) are very common in south-western Australia. Two New Holland Honeyeaters were feeding on the flowers of the Showy Banksia (Banksia speciosa) in the Woody Lake Nature Reserve near Esperance In Western Australia. Also feeding on the large Banksia flowers were Western Wattlebirds, Red Wattlebirds and Silvereyes.
