Continuing selasphorus. It was determined to be a young male but nailing it down to species was a challenge. I was hoping some of the undertail shots in this checklist would be useful in that they seem to show the shape of R2 in a couple. The bird was last seen the morning of Friday, November 6th. UPDATE 11/13/2023: Sheri Williamson, known hummingbird expert and author, reviewed the photos and was able to determine: "This bird is a Rufous by the width of R5 and juvenile male by the incoming adult male feathers."
