Took a while to get all 3, but stubbornness paid off. 1 individual easily picked out with Dunlin 3/4 of the way to the lighthouse. Once the fishermen packed up the other 2 popped up with a small group of Dunlin near the lighthouse tip. Similar in shape to Dunlin though chubbier with shorter bill. Orange base of bill and legs, dark purple/gray. All 3 individuals documented. I never felt comfortable listing the winter Niagara Falls birds due to lack of optics and distance, nice to get an up close legit sighting for my Niagara list.
