The bird in the middle has a red collar. Number could be A1. Recd a mail regarding that from Dr.Martin Gilbert WSC -Assuming the bird was wearing a red/orange collar with code A1, that bird was a female and was captured in Central Mongolia at Khunt Nuur on 24 July 2009 (approx N48.28288, E 102.34637). We have received no other resightings for this bird, so it would be good if we can confirm the identity.
觀察細節
Quite common here - Approx count - Mostly seen in the shallow waters & grasslands outisde the koonthankulam tank. Pic by Dr.Muthu . One of the birds seen landing into the tank had a red collared collar. couldn't id the number though.
