Carefully tallied, and closest birds photographed with digiscoping and SLR; two basic flight lines, one about 300m offshore and just off rocks, as the birds fought their way around the point form White Horse Beach (about 60% of flight); the remainder pumping S farther offshore, not in a discrete line, but scattered in a couple different distance bands
