Flagged for late date. Very late - certainly one of the latest records in the BOS study region. Looks like a first year bird to me due to the greenish back color and limited amount of yellow - maybe a young male in that the breast band is beginning to darken. Yellow lower mandible, yellow throat and breast, white belly and undertail, subtle eye arcs, wing bars, blue-gray / greenish back. Fun to see at this date but the impending cold is worrisome for this lovely bird. Poor photos included.
