觀察細節
In an birdy area along the southwest side of the lake, about 100 yds west on Dexter from Redwood (this is almost the opposite side of the lake from the main "warbler spot"). "Slender-billed" White-breasted Nuthatch because of a wide black cap (Rocky Mtn would be quite narrow), and white underparts with gray limited to the flanks. I do see a fair bit of contrasting black on the greater coverts, which is more typical of southern Rocky Mtn (Steve Mlodinow's article in "Birding"). But I think this is more variable than the width of the black crown. The bird was silent.
