NOTES: Notes on Tape Box: SeaQuest bio trip, July 1961. Reel #4. Reel ends East side Anacapa Island. Dolphin first 5 mins of reel (White-sided dolphin; 3 seen). Note on Tape Box from Ken Marten, dated 5/21/85: "I listened for ~5 min. - couldn't hear anything except water noise. some faint sea-lion bark-like sounds after ~5 min." MLNS note: second section has loud snapping shrimp. Faint whistles throughout, plus what sound like sealion barks later on. I only took the first ~8 mins. of tape (CAB 12Nov2002). SEAOCEAN.
