Eating prey over the paved trail, and keeping an eye on the nearby Cooper's Hawk

觀察細節

Immature flew in with prey from Bent Creek Drive and landed on a hardwood at the start of the trail, then went about eating. Could see short banded (not rufous) tail, heavy belly band of dark markings, and heavy white feathering along the legs. Photo only shows head and throat.
