Song's pretty tough to pick out in this clip, with so many other birds vocalizing. Most easily heard at 22-second mark. Other species: Song Sparrow, Tufted Titmouse, Northern Cardinal, Common Yellowthroat, Indigo Bunting (?), American Crow, Blue Grosbeak.
观察细节
Near trail marker #4, singing from the top a bush, mostly while concealed by leaves. Strange bird for the habitat (marker #4 is not near water) and fairly unusual overall in the piedmont during summer months. Heard it singing for several minutes, then finally got a look at it: rusty cap and wings, gray face, white throat and malar, lightly streaked flanks, heavily streaked back, dark line behind eye, vaguely yellow lores. I assume this guy was just passing through (early post-breeding dispersal?). Given the amount of birder coverage at this location, it seems unlikely he'd have been missed if he'd been around awhile.
