Band 2ACT. I've contacted the original ringer of this bird and will hopefully receive information on its provenance. Update: This bird was originally banded by Shane Wolsey on 5/14/2010 on Big Copeland Island in Northern Ireland. It has been reseen three times (including my sighting yesterday) in Dublin county, Ireland: first on 11/22/2014 (Portmarnock Strand), then on 2/4/2017 (Dollymount Strand), and lastly on 8/17/2017 (Portmarnock Strand). Therefore we can only say the bird is at least 7 years and 3 months old since it was banded as a breeding adult. Cool!
