Sub adult of some sort. Will look at this in more detail later to see if I can age more precisely but I think maybe a third winter bird. Pale eye, pale bill with extensive dark markings especially on upper mandible, and extensive slaty plumage in mantle and coverts but still with some brown in wings. Legs appeared pale yellow-pink, not strongly one color or another.
